BORIS KLEVOGIN BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1953. 1974 - finished the Art School in Penza. 1982 .

-became a member of the Russian Union of Artists. 1994 - Personal exhibition in the "Gallery of modern art named after Plastov" (Ulyanovsk, Russia) 1995

-awarded with a Silver Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. The artist says that from all genres he loves still life most of all. In his paintings he tries to make a harmonic connection of realistic contours of the things with their almost conventional signs. Each thing bears the certain senses and values. Things can live, argue, disagree with each other, declare their exclusiveness. They are figurative analogues of people, human passions.

The artworks by B. Klevogin can be found in the collection of Ulyanovsk State Art Museum other regional meuseums, State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, in the Ministry of Culture of Russia; and in private collections in the USA, Germany, Switzerland and Russia.
